Toitles

I know for a fact that the creators of the Ninja Turtles had pretty serious intentions for their creations. However as the TV series blew up and the execs realized the never ending toys sales potentials the original creators good intentions went right out the window. Case in point are the two examples below:



Genghis Frog and Napoleon Bonafrog...What the frog is going on here?
It was surely at this point that the execs were beyond caring if any of it made any sense at all.

Those were actually characters from an episode of the cartoon. As best I remember there was also Atilla the frog and Rusputin frog. The storyline was a little shaky at best, but basically consisted of Shredder trying to make his own mutants but accidentally dumping the "Mutogen Ooze" cannister in the Orinoco swamp where it mutated a bunch of hapless frogs instead.

Mind blowing stuff as ever. The likes of such beautifully written children's programming has been rarely seen since.
